Day Use Parks
Lake Allatoona, Georgia

Lake Allatoona has many different day use parks and boat launch areas. These facilities offer opportunities to access the lake and the lake shore from a variety of locations. These parks collectively offer boat access, parking for your truck and trailer, swimming beaches, playgrounds, picnic facilities, fishing access, restrooms, and more. The parks may be managed by the Corp or Engineers, county agencies, or municipal government parks and recreation departments. Almost all charge a fee for using their associated amenities.

A note about boat launches and boat slips

Most of the lake's campgrounds have a boat launch facility but you can only use them if you are camping. If you are not camping, there are many day use parks and dedicated boat launch locations that you can use for the day. You can go to the Allatoona Lake boat launch page to see a list of day use boat launch areas.

If you want to stay out on the lake longer than a day, you probably need to look into finding a boat slip. For this, you will need to check into at least one of the many marinas found around the lake. You can see a list of them, and their locations, at the Lake Allatoona marinas page.
